Thin places. There are sacred moments when the distance between heaven and earth narrows, and anything is possible.
Skye arrives at college, determined to leave her past behind. But suddenly she sees the shadowy image of her mother on campus. Eight years ago, Skye’s mother abandoned her. What happened all those years ago? Is she even still alive? Reluctantly, Skye seeks help in the counseling clinic, but the psychologist, Alix, has suffered her own tragic loss and resolves not to let the desperate girl drag them both into the past.
Thin Places is a story of brokenness and healing. Each grappling with colliding issues of grief and abandonment, each yearning for long-lost connections.

This is a great read. Often when you read an author you know personally, like listening to a CD from an artist you know personally, you can fall into the trap of being either too critical or too willing to like the work because you like the author. This book is really good. I am halfway through “Thin Places” and am fully engaged with the characters. The writing is first-class and I look forward to finding out what happens next…….Kk

Thank you Kurt! So glad you’re enjoying the book. It’s one thing to “birth” a book, but then it’s terrific to hear your experience of reading it. I really appreciate your comment.
